OUR APPROACH

Good music begins
with being heard.

We believe musical growth takes more than getting the notes right. It takes curiosity, consistent practice, creative expression, and a teacher who understands the student.

Our instruction brings technique, musical understanding, and performance preparation together—one thoughtful step at a time.

ROOTED IN MUSIC. GROWING TOGETHER.

A studio. A school. A community.

H-Music began in 2018 as Xu Huang’s home studio. As more teachers joined, it grew into H-MUSIC & ART Inc.—a music education community for students of different ages and stages.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST NOTE

A few good
questions.

Have another question?

info@h-musicandarts.com ↗
Does my child need previous experience?

Private lessons are tailored to the student’s experience and learning goals. Tell us your child’s age, interests, and background so we can suggest a suitable starting point.

What happens after the trial?

We’ll discuss the teacher’s feedback and your family’s experience, then explore a regular lesson format and schedule. Enrollment and lesson times are confirmed by the school.

Can we take lessons online?

Online and in-person arrangements depend on the program and teacher’s availability. Include your preference when you contact us.

What if we need to cancel a private lesson?

Notify school administration through an official school channel more than 24 hours before the scheduled start. At 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, the LMC fee is $30 / 30 minutes, $45 / 45 minutes, or $60 / 60 minutes. The regular lesson fee is not charged in addition. Make-ups and emergency exceptions require confirmation; they are not automatic.

How are students supported between lessons?

Follow the teacher’s practice recommendations and keep a notebook or digital practice journal for assignments, feedback, and questions. Parents can help younger students establish a steady routine.
